Man Taken to Hospital After Collision in Welling

A man has been hospitalized following a collision involving a car in Welling on September 5.

The incident occurred just after 1:30 p.m. on Upper Wickham Lane. Emergency services, including officers from the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service, quickly responded to the scene and found the injured man.

The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. At this time, the man’s condition remains unknown.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that investigations into the circumstances surrounding the collision are ongoing. A police spokesperson said, “On Thursday, 5 September, police were called at 13:32hrs following reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian. Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service, who took the pedestrian – a man, no further details – to a nearby hospital. We await an update on his condition.”

No further details about the cause of the crash or the identities involved have been released as investigations continue.
