West Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses after a man has suffered life threatening injuries following a collision in Birmingham last night (13 Jan).

Officers were called to the junction of Belgrave Middleway and Highgate Road at around 6.30pm to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in a serious but stable condition.
