A man in his 30s was stabbed in broad daylight on Porters Avenue, Dagenham. Police swooped in after paramedics treated the victim at a nearby home on Woodward Road.

The victim was initially treated by paramedics at a Woodward Road residence before being taken to hospital. Officers believe the stabbing occurred earlier in the evening on Porters Avenue.
Teen Bailed as Investigation Continues
The arrested teenager has since been released on bail. Police continue to investigate the violent attack.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “At 18:41hrs on Sunday, 19 October officers were called by the London Ambulance Service to an address in Woodward Road, Dagenham after someone was being treated for stab wounds.
“It is believed the man in his 30s had been attacked in an incident earlier in the evening on Porters Avenue, Dagenham.
“He was taken to hospital for treatment where his injuries were not deemed life-threatening or life-changing.
“A teenage boy was arrested on Sunday, 19 October on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
“He has since been bailed pending further investigation.
