A man was stabbed in front of children at Heston Park, Hounslow, on Saturday evening (September 7), prompting a swift evacuation of families from the park. The incident occurred around 5:40 PM, near a playground filled with children, sending shockwaves through the local community.
The victim, a 21-year-old man, was quickly attended to by the London Ambulance Service, with the first paramedic arriving in less than six minutes. He was rushed to hospital, where his injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening but potentially life-changing.
Following the attack, a crime scene was established, and a knife was recovered at the park. Disturbing footage from the scene, which will not be shared due to its explicit nature, shows an air ambulance arriving as paramedics treat the injured man near the playground gates.
Children playing in the park were asked to leave, and parents hurriedly escorted their kids away from the area as emergency services responded.
No arrests have been made so far, but police investigations are ongoing. The Metropolitan Police are appealing for any witnesses or information related to the incident.
The violent attack has left local residents shocked, with many expressing concern about safety in the area, particularly given that the incident occurred in broad daylight and so close to a children’s playground.
