Detectives are appealing to the public for information regarding a sexual assault that occurred at Wrexham General Railway Station. In their efforts to advance the investigation, authorities have released a CCTV image of a man they believe may have crucial information related to the incident.
The assault took place at approximately 13:00 on Friday, August 25. At the time, a woman in her seventies was standing on the platform with a family member when an unknown man approached her. After engaging her in conversation, the man proceeded to sexually assault her.
Detectives are urging anyone who recognises the man in the released CCTV image to come forward and provide any relevant information that could aid in their investigation. The man is believed to have key details that could help shed light on the incident.
