A man was shot in a park near High Road, N11, this evening, sparking a swift police response and a major investigation.
Gunshot Victim Found with Abdominal Wound
Police were called at around 5:03pm after reports of gunfire. Officers arrived to find a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Paramedics treated him at the scene before rushing him to hospital.
“At approximately 1703 this evening we received a call stating a male had been shot in a park area close to the location of The High Road, N11. Police have located a male victim who has an injury to his abdomen and has now been conveyed to hospital by LAS. A crime scene is in place and the local community can expect an increased policing presence this evening.
