Man Missing from Mental Health Facility, Believed to Have Travelled to Folkestone

Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant as efforts continue to locate a man missing from a mental health facility in Shrewsbury, with concerns that he may have travelled to Kent.

Keel James, 35, was reported missing after leaving the secure Redwood Centre in Shrewsbury on Monday. It is believed that he has since made his way to Folkestone, raising concerns about potential risks to public safety.

Described as 6 feet 2 inches tall, of slim build, with balding fair hair and blue eyes, James was last seen wearing a navy fluffy hoody and grey jogging bottoms.

The spokesman for West Mercia Police emphasized the importance of caution, stating, “He is currently being treated as a missing person but potentially poses a risk to the public, therefore the public is advised not to approach him and instead ring 999 immediately.

Efforts to locate James are ongoing, with authorities urging anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact the police immediately.
