Boy left serious after late night take away attack

Police have launched major investigation following a late night take away attack that has left a teenage boy with missing fingers. Police remain at the scene of the attack that is understood to have taken place just before 11pm on Friday evening in the Copnor Takeaway on Copnor Road. Two shop workers who witnessed the attack are still in shock after the vicious assault that also resulted in the injured man being thrown into the glass door of the takeaway. Three other shops in the cordon are also unable to open whilst Police carried out a full forensic search of the take away. Large amounts of blood can be seen in the pavement outside on the pavement. Police have yet to issue an appeal for witnesses nor where they able to confirm if those involed had been arrested. More to follow
