A man was found injured following a collision involving a bus and a car at the junction of Eastern Way and Clydesdale Way in Belvedere early this morning (24 October 2024).
The incident occurred around 12:40 am, prompting a response from officers and crews from the London Ambulance Service. Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered a man with injuries. He was treated at the scene but declined further hospital treatment and was subsequently released.
Road closures were temporarily put in place to manage the incident and allow emergency services to work safely; however, the roads have since reopened.

A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said, “We were called at 12:37 am this morning (Thursday 24 October) to reports of a road traffic collision at the junction of Eastern Way and Clydesdale Way, DA18. We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car. Our crews assessed a man at the scene, before he was released, declining further aid.”
Authorities are continuing to monitor the area, and there are no further updates regarding the cause of the collision.
