A young man has been left with life-changing injuries following a collision in Leyland. Lancashire Police have launched an urgent appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage as the investigation heats up.
Crash Details and Police Investigation
The collision occurred around 7:20pm on Saturday, 4th October, on Leyland Lane near the junction with Atlas Court. A passerby found the injured man, who is in his 20s, and emergency services rushed him to hospital. He remains in a serious condition.
Police checked CCTV and confirmed a white Mercedes C320 was involved in the incident. An intense investigation is ongoing, with officers frequently seen questioning locals in the area.
Three Arrested Over Dangerous Driving
So far, three suspects have been arrested: a 14-year-old boy, a 31-year-old woman, and a 41-year-old man. All are held on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Despite these arrests, police continue to urge anyone with information or footage, especially dashcam clips from Leyland Lane between 7pm and 7:45pm on October 4th, to come forward.

“We want to tell you about a collision that has left a man with life changing injuries in Leyland, as we appeal for your help,” a Lancashire Police spokesperson said.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw the Mercedes near the scene before or after the crash. They have also asked the public to avoid speculation as the case unfolds.
