Man Hospitalised After Head Injury in East London Assault

 

A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital following a late-night assault in East London that left him with a serious head injury. The incident occurred shortly after 11pm on Friday, 25 July, in New Festival Avenue, E14.

According to the Metropolitan Police, officers were called at 23:11hrs to reports of a man suffering a head injury. Emergency services, including London Ambulance Service, responded to the scene.

“The victim, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries,” police confirmed in a statement.

The National Police Air Service (NPAS) was also deployed to assist with a search for the suspects. However, despite extensive efforts, no trace of the perpetrators was found.

No Arrests Yet

Police say no arrests have been made, and enquiries remain ongoing.
