Man had acid thrown in his face in Enfield

A 21 year old man had a substance thrown in his face last night in Edmonton whilst parked up in a car on Chequers Way at the junction with Tottenhal Road, N13. Met police say officers on patrol were stopped by the victim just before Midnight. The man told officers that a vehicle pulled up beside him before one of the occupants threw liquid into his face. He was taken to hospital – his injuries were deemed non life threatening. Enquiries continue to determine what the substance was the Met say.
