Man faces assault charges after two attacked in the Fleur De Lis pub in Gillingham – UKNIP

Police  have charged a man with a serious assault at a pub in Gillingham.

 

Dirk Peterson, 51, of Ivy Street, Rochester, appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 21 August 2020 having been charged with grievous bodily harm and actual bodily harm.

 

The charges relate to an incident in the Fleur De Lis pub in Gillingham Road, in which Kent Police was called to at 4.59pm on 19 July 2020. It is reported two men were assaulted during the incident.

 

Mr Peterson was remanded in custody after appearing at Medway Magistrates’ Court and is due to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on 18 September.
