Man dies following Southampton collision

Police have confirmed sadly that a pedestrian involved in a collision in Southampton last week has died. Officers were called to a collision involving a motorbike and a pedestrian at 7.41am on Mansbridge Road, on March 7. The pedestrian, a 55-year-old man, from Bournemouth, was taken to Southampton General Hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died in hospital on March 8. Officers are continuing to investigate the exact circumstances of the collision.
