A 43-year-old man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead in Hornchurch, east London.

Augustinas Druskis, 43, of Cranham Road, Hornchurch, is set to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 20 October. The charge follows the death of a 40-year-old woman, believed to be his wife, at a property in Havering.
Paramedics and police were called to the scene at 1:04am on Saturday, 18 October, following reports of a stabbing. Despite emergency crews’ efforts, the woman, named as Agne Druskienea, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Agne’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers. The suspect was arrested at the scene shortly after the attack.
