Man charged following fatal stabbing in Haringey

A man has been charged with murder following a stabbing in Haringey. Adam Tarik – 24 of Vale Road, N4 was charged on Sunday, 9 June with the murder of 33-year-old Baris Kucuk and possession of an offensive weapon. He will appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 10 June. This follows an investigation by detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command. An investigation was launched after police were called to reports of a stabbing in Seven Sisters Road, N15 at approximately 3.10am on Saturday, 1 June. Baris Kucuk was taken to hospital but died there on Monday, 3 June. A 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday, 3 June – he has been released under investigation.
