A 40-year-old man has been charged following an incident at the Castle Tavern on Mumby Road, Gosport, where three people were assaulted on the evening of Sunday, December 29.
Details of the Incident
Police were called to the pub at 7 PM after reports of multiple assaults. One of the victims, a 47-year-old man, sustained serious injuries to his hand. A 46-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man were also injured during the altercation.
Charges Filed
Joseph Lockhart, 40, of Haslar Road, Gosport, has been charged with several offenses, including:
- Causing grievous bodily harm with intent
- Causing actual bodily harm
- Assault by beating
- Possession of a bladed article in a public place
- Section 4 harassment
Lockhart is set to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, January 29.
