Man Charged with Grievous Bodily Harm Following Assault in Barking
A man has been charged with grievous bodily harm following a violent incident at a residential address in Barking earlier this year.
Metropolitan Police officers were called to a property on Harts Lane on May 27 after receiving reports of a disturbance inside the home. On arrival, officers found a man unconscious after allegedly being punched.
The victim was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. Police have since confirmed that his injuries, while serious, are not life-threatening or life-changing.
