A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following a road traffic collision involving a van and multiple vehicles on Beckenham High Street.

Police were called to the scene at 9:15pm on Thursday, 17 April, after receiving reports of the crash.

Officers attended and arrested one man in connection with the incident. He remains in police custody.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, though several vehicles were damaged. The road was temporarily disrupted while emergency services dealt with the aftermath.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
