PPE Medpro, led by Baroness Michelle Mone’s husband, Doug Barrowman, was awarded contracts worth over £200 million to supply gowns and face masks. These contracts were secured without normal competitive tendering regulations due to the urgency of the pandemic response.

Previously, both Michelle Mone and Douglas Barrowman were interviewed under caution by NCA investigators. The investigation continues as authorities delve into the procurement process and potential criminal offences related to PPE contracts.
