Police have arrested a man following reports of indecent exposure at a car park near a popular café in Shooters Hill.

The incident occurred yesterday at the Oxleas Woods Café car park on Crown Woods Lane. Officers were called to the scene after reports of a male allegedly exposing himself in the area.

Responding swiftly, police arrived and detained the suspect, who was subsequently arrested for indecent exposure.

The Shooters Hill police team confirmed the arrest on social media platform X, stating: “Yesterday police were called to Oxleas Woods Café Carpark to reports of a male exposing himself. Police quickly responded to the call and one male was arrested for Indecent Exposure on scene.”

Investigation Ongoing

Authorities have not released further details regarding the identity of the suspect or the circumstances leading to the arrest. The investigation remains ongoing, and police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has additional information to come forward.

This arrest follows other recent police activity in the area, including the apprehension of a Thamesmead man charged after cash and cocaine were seized during a police stop in Greenhithe.
