Man Arrested for Drugs Offence After Vehicle Stop in Farnborough

 

A man has been arrested on suspicion of a drugs offence following a proactive police stop in Farnborough yesterday.

Officers stopped a Volkswagen Polo on Fairfax Road during a routine patrol around 4pm on Sunday, September 29. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery and seizure of a quantity of suspected Class A drugs, along with more than £100 in cash.

A 27-year-old man from Blackwater was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A drug. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The investigation is ongoing.
