Man arrested for attempted murder after Southampton stabbing

Hither Green Man Charged with Murder Following Death in Devon

Officers are conducting enquiries in London Road today following an isolated incident where a man was injured in a suspected stabbing.

A 47-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, possession of a bladed article and attempted murder.

There is not believed to be any wider risk to the community at this stage.
