The Metropolitan Police have arrested a man following reports of a robbery on Oxford Street, London. The incident occurred around 8:00 pm on Friday, 28 March, after police were alerted to a group of men attempting to steal mobile phones from members of the public.

During the response, officers pursued and arrested one man on suspicion of theft. His bike was also seized as part of the operation. In addition to the arrest, the suspect was reported for road traffic offences.
