Man Arrested After White Van Allegedly Rams Multiple Vehicles on A2 Near Gravesend

A 38-year-old man has been arrested following an incident in which a white van allegedly rammed multiple vehicles on the A2 near Gravesend. The incident occurred at around 9:50 AM on September 17, on the London-bound carriageway near the Gravesend Central junction.

The suspect, driving a white Ford Transit Connect van, is said to have collided with several vehicles before continuing onto the M25. Officers responded quickly, and the man from Rochester was arrested near the Dartford River Crossing. The vehicle has been seized, and the suspect has been released on bail as investigations continue.

Kent Police are now appealing for witnesses and anyone affected by the collisions to come forward. Investigators are particularly interested in speaking with the driver of a silver Transit van, which was also damaged during the incident but has not yet been located.
