A 59-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a tragic collision on the M6 motorway.
Details of the Fatal Collision
The crash happened just before 3pm near Junction 10, involving a motorcyclist who sadly died at the scene. West Midlands Police confirmed the arrest came the day after the collision.
The suspect remains in custody this morning as police carry on with their investigation. Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are leading the inquiry.
Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Police are urging any drivers who were near Junction 10 at the time to come forward. They’re especially keen to view dashcam footage that could shed light on what happened.
“The family of the man who died have been notified and are being supported by officers. Our thoughts are with them at this tragic time,” said West Midlands Police.
