Incident Details
On Thursday, May 9, at approximately 11:50 police received reports of a stabbing in Burnt Oak Broadway. Officers, along with the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and London’s Air Ambulance (HEMS), swiftly responded to the scene. There, they discovered the 66-year-old woman suffering from knife wounds.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the victim succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Her family has been notified of the devastating loss.
Arrest and Court Appearance
Jalal Debella was apprehended on suspicion of murder in the Colindale area on Thursday, May 9. He was subsequently charged and brought before Willesden Magistrates’ Court. The court remanded him in custody pending his appearance at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, May 14.
