Major Emergency Response in Ramsgate as Fire Crews Break Into Home After Medical Incident

Emergency services launched a major response this evening after a medical incident at a property on West Cliff Road in Ramsgate.

At least five fire engines, along with police units and ambulance crews, were called to the scene at approximately 6pm on Thursday, 7 August 2025. The road was swiftly taped off by police, and access remains restricted as emergency teams continue to operate.

Firefighters Gain Entry Using Ladder and Tools

Witnesses reported seeing Kent Fire and Rescue Service crews using a ladder to reach a window and cutting it open to gain entry to the property.

An air ambulance also landed in Government Acre, a nearby green space, at around 6:30pm, suggesting the situation may be serious.

Photos from the scene show a large emergency presence lining the street, with police officers diverting traffic and members of the public being asked to stay back.

Awaiting Official Update

Authorities have not yet released details about the nature of the medical emergency or the condition of the person involved. Emergency services have been approached for comment, and updates are expected shortly.
