Major Crash Closes Queen’s Road in Belvedere: Emergency Services on Scene

Queen’s Road has been closed towards the Fish Roundabout following a serious collision involving two lorries and a car on Monday (April 28).

Emergency services, including the London Fire Brigade (LFB), Metropolitan Police, and paramedics, rushed to the scene near McDonald’s after reports that one person was trapped inside a vehicle. The incident occurred close to Erith Road, with significant disruption reported in the area.

Drivers are being diverted, with all traffic redirected down towards McDonald’s while the response operation continues. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes as delays are expected throughout the evening.

London Fire Brigade are using  specialist equipment to free a trapped occupant from a car involved in the collision. The extent of injuries is currently unknown.

Police have asked anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage to come forward.
