Maidstone Graveyard in Lockdown after Sex attack

Officers from Kent Police have placed a Graveyard in lockdown after a sex attack took place on Thursday evening. Police  say that a man was raped in the Graveyard and they have launched and investigation.  Scene tape and Police guard remain at both end of the graveyard. A number of cans can be seen on a blue bench. A specialist Police sniffer dog and scene of crime have been called to the scene. https:///youtu.be/8htnjZABYac A second scene that is understood to be related to the incident  is two street away in James Street. Officers have spent the morning removing a number of items and placing them in evidence bags.   Police in a statement  said the victim, a man is his 20s, was walking along an alleyway between Brewer Street and Union Street. There is no description of the male suspect and the area has been cordoned while enquiries are under way. Officers are appealing for information that may assist their investigation.
