MAJOR CRASH M20 Kent Chaos: Crash Closes Lanes Both Ways

 

The M20 westbound is gridlocked from J9 A20 Fougeres Way (Ashford) to J8 A20 Ashford Road (Leeds Castle / Maidstone Services). Two lanes remain shut after a vehicle bizarrely crossed the central reservation, sparking chaos.

Traffic is now backed up all the way through Charing  Drivers desperate to dodge the jams are clogging village roads, causing even more delays.

The eastbound carriageway isn’t fairing any better. One lane is closed from J8 A20 Ashford Road to J9 A20 Fougeres Way after the same crash disrupted traffic both ways. Queues stretch back towards Hollingbourne, frustrating drivers hunting for detours.
