M20 Closed Due to Lorry Fire Near Folkestone
The M20 Eastbound was closed last night (Saturday) between Junctions 10A and 11 as firefighters battled a fierce blaze in a lorry trailer. The fire broke out around 9 PM, with the driver managing to detach the cab from the trailer before the flames took hold.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the fire on the coastbound section of the motorway and dispatched two fire engines and a bulk water carrier to the scene. Crews, equipped with breathing apparatus, worked to extinguish the flames using hose reels and main jets. The fire was contained to the trailer, and there were no reported injuries.
