Linkspan Issues on Wightlink at Yarmouth

Wightlink’s Yarmouth to Lyminton car ferry service has been suspended until further notice this morning (Sunday) following an issue with the linkspan at the Yarmouth terminal. Ferries are unable to load or unload and as a result has moved around to the nearby international ferry port, where it is awaiting permission from the harbour master to dock. Wightlink staff have said they are unable to give a time for the next sailing. In a statement, Wightlink have said there will be delays to its car ferry services between Yarmouth and Lymington due to a fault with the linkspan which is now being repaired. Customers should check in as normal and will then be advised of arrangements for onward travel. More to Follow
