A serious high-speed collision on the A2 between Bean interchange and Northfleet has resulted in the road being closed after one woman sustained life-changing injuries.
The crash, involving two vehicles, occurred when one of the vehicles reportedly burst into flames, transforming into a fireball upon impact. Kent Police’s Roads Policing Unit, alongside specialists from the Forensic Collision Investigation Unit, have been dispatched to the scene to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident.

The female victim of the collision has been urgently treated at the scene before being transported to a hospital with injuries described as life-changing.

The second vehicle involved in the crash was reportedly abandoned by its driver, who fled the scene immediately after the incident.

Police have launched a manhunt for the culprit, urging anyone with information to come forward.
