Knifepoint Robbery in Normanby: 14-Year-Old Boy Targeted – UKNIP

Cleveland Police are urgently seeking information and witnesses following a harrowing knifepoint robbery in Normanby. The incident occurred on Tuesday, 9 April, at approximately 3.10pm, between Ormesby Road and Flatts Lane.

According to reports, a 14-year-old boy was riding his bicycle along the cycle path connecting the Poverina pub to Flatts Lane when he was confronted by three assailants. These men, dressed in dark clothing and wearing face coverings, threatened the young victim with a knife. In a terrifying turn of events, they forced him to surrender his bicycle before fleeing the scene.

Thankfully, the victim emerged physically unharmed, but the traumatic experience left him deeply shaken. Cleveland Police are urging anyone with relevant information or access to CCTV or dash-cam footage from the area to come forward.
