A cold-blooded killer who gunned down a man in a dispute over a stolen motorbike has refused to leave his prison cell for sentencing.

Josh Eno Snubs Court at Old Bailey

Josh Eno, 25, currently locked up at HMP Belmarsh, declined to appear in court or even join via video link. The murder hearing at the Old Bailey was left hanging as Eno stayed put in his cell.

Victim Shot Dead Over Stolen £20,000 BMW

Eno was convicted last month for the murder of 21-year-old Rico Andrews. The tragic killing happened on 5 October 2023 in Battersea after a heated argument about a stolen £20,000 BMW motorbike.

Emergency crews rushed to Shuttleworth Road at around 9:50pm but found Andrews with a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. Paramedics tried to save him but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Judge Slams Eno’s Stunt as “Ridiculous”

Judge Philip Katz KC slammed Eno’s no-show during sentencing. “It’s ridiculous when we are manipulated by someone refusing to get out of bed,” he said, clearly frustrated by the killer’s stunt.
