Investigations continue into Pizza Parlour Lilia Djairine death

An investigation continues following the death of a woman in Ealing. At this early stage, the death is being treated as unexplained. the victim  Lilia Djairine who has been named locally as the victim died at the scene on the busy stret in Hanwell Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 12:11hrs on Thursday, 19 July to reports of a seriously injured woman in Uxbridge Road, W7. There is no evidence that she was stabbed. Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended. Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the woman, believed to be aged in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:50hrs. Her next-of-kin has been informed. At post-mortem examination carried out at Fulham Mortuary on Friday, 20 July gave the cause of death as death by hanging. Formal identification will take place in due course. At this stage this matter continues to be dealt with by detectives in Ealing. Enquiries into the full circumstances are ongoing. A 28-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and has since been released under investigation. The Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command has been informed as is routine.
