An investigation is underway after two men were seriously injured during a violent incident in Bartley Green on Wednesday, August 28. West Midlands Police were called to an address on Clapgate Lane at approximately 5:40 PM, where paramedics were already on the scene treating a man for a gunshot wound.
The 48-year-old victim was quickly transported to the hospital in serious condition. In a related development, a second man, believed to have been injured during the same incident, arrived at the hospital with a fractured skull. He remains in stable condition.
