Hyde Park Winter Wonderland Closed on Saturday Due to High Winds

The organisers of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland have announced that the popular festive attraction will remain closed on Saturday, 7 December 2024, due to safety concerns stemming from high winds. The decision follows the Royal Parks’ closure of Hyde Park, prioritizing visitor and staff safety amid the adverse weather conditions.

Ticket Refunds and Rescheduling

Organizers have contacted all affected ticket holders, offering them the opportunity to either reschedule their visit or receive a refund. Despite the closure, the event will remain open until 5 January 2024, with plenty of availability throughout the remainder of the season.

Weather Outlook

With improved weather conditions forecast for Sunday, the event is expected to operate as normal. Visitors are encouraged to check Winter Wonderland’s official channels for the latest updates.

Statement from Organisers

In their statement, Winter Wonderland organisers said:

“The safety of our visitors and staff is our top priority, and we are sorry for any disappointment caused. We look forward to welcoming visitors back on Sunday.”
