Hotel worker to appear in court accused of sex attacks on five different women including on £230-a-night superyacht

In a significant development, 45-year-old Ahmed Fahmy, residing in West Heath Drive, NW11, is set to appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 24, charged with one count of rape and four counts of sexual assault. The charges stem from a thorough investigation conducted by detectives in Barnet.

The alleged offences occurred between 2008 and 2024 and involved five different women. Fahmy, who was either employed or purported to work at hotels where some of the incidents took place.

The investigation was initiated after separate allegations of rape and sexual assault were reported to the police on Sunday, January 21, 2024. Fahmy was arrested on the same day, and subsequent detective work revealed additional offences, leading to the formal charging of five offences.

The details of the charges include:

1. Rape of a woman on January 20, 2024, at the Anchor Guest Hotel, West Heath Drive, NW11.

2. Sexual assault of a woman on January 20, 2024, at the Anchor Guest Hotel, West Heath Drive, NW11.

3. Sexual assault of a woman on March 10, 2023, at the Anchor Guest Hotel, West Heath Drive, NW11.

4. Sexual assault of a woman between March 1, 2022, and March 31, 2022, at the Sunborn Yacht Hotel, Western Gateway, E16.

5. Sexual assault of a woman between January 1, 2008, and December 31, 2008, at Alliance Close, Wembley.
