HGV Driver arrested after being three times the drink drive limit – UKNIP
 
 

A HGV driver who blew over three times the drink drive limit and rising was arrested at Southampton docks on Monday  morning.

Officers received a report of a suspected drink driver and located the vehicle at 8 45am.
 
The driver failed a road side breath test and was arrested. He then provided a reading of over three times the drink drive limit in Southampton Central Police Station.
 

He has been reported for summons and will likely face a ban and large fine.
