A GMP spokesperson confirmed no one was hurt, but no arrests have been made yet. A large police presence remains on Lissadel Street as detectives comb the area for clues.

The inquiry is being handled by GMP’s dedicated Salford Challenger Team, part of Greater Manchester’s anti-organised crime efforts. Officers believe the gunfire was a “targeted” attack.
