Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called to the station following reports that an unknown substance had been thrown into a person’s face.
Emergency responders, including police, paramedics, and the London Ambulance Service, arrived swiftly at the scene to provide aid. The substance was immediately washed down by emergency personnel, ensuring the area and the victim were made safe. A Spokesman for the Met Police said: Police were called shortly before 7pm on Saturday, 9 November, to a man who had liquid thrown into his eyes. The liquid was found to be an irritant. The man was taken to hospital for treatment and his condition is not life-threatening of life-changing.
There has been no arrest.
