Paul Gallagher, 26, was shot dead on July 28, 2014, and his body was later discovered in a field near Collon.
Mr Gallagher was with at least three men in the hours before his murder, according to garda.
On the night of his murder, he and another man drove to Ballymacan around 10.30 p.m., after being joined by two others in Tullyallen village.
Mr Gallagher’s body was discovered two days later in a field.
Although several arrests have been made in connection with the investigation, no one has been charged with his murder.
Garda believe that a number of people who have yet to come forward may now be able to help them with their investigation.

Geraldine Gallagher, Mr Gallagher’s mother, testified at an inquest into his death last year, which resulted in a verdict of unlawful killing.
She recalled her son leaving their Donaghmede, Co Dublin, home on the night of the murder.
She stated that Paul had informed her that he was going to Drogheda to assist a friend. She claimed he fled in a car driven by Sean Barrett, a man later convicted of withholding information in the case.
Barrett told Ms Gallagher two days later that he had left her son in Drogheda, heard gunshots, and fled.
Barrett testified at the inquest that he drove Mr Gallagher to Dundalk on the day he was killed. He stated that Mr Gallagher had contacted him and requested a lift that afternoon.
Barrett stated that as they drove up the M1, he exited the highway and Mr Gallagher asked him to pull over.
Mr Gallagher got out of his car and was talking to someone on the side of the road. He later said he got back into the car and they drove home around 7 p.m.
Later that night, Mr Gallagher called again and asked Barrett to return him to Drogheda.
He said he collected him at this house but Mr Gallagher did not say why he was going back again.
Mr Barrett stated that later in the journey, near Drogheda, Mr Gallagher asked him to pull over and “two fellas got in.”
In the garda statement, Barrett mentioned that one of the men had a crowbar. He told the inquest that he had no idea who the men were.
He said they drove to the lane where they had been earlier that day and Mr Gallagher and two other men got out.
Barrett stated that Mr Gallagher asked him to accompany him.
He claimed they walked up a field, through a rusted gate, and into a barnyard. He claimed he began running after hearing gunshots and a scream.
Barrett stated that he had no idea what to do, but he noticed a house and knocked on the door and the window. He said a woman answered, but then went back inside.
Barrett went back to his home. He said he was terrified and told his girlfriend, and the next day they went back to the site.
However, he stated that they asked a man if he had noticed anything suspicious, and he stated that he had not.
On July 30, he spoke with Mr Gallagher’s mother and described hearing gunshots. He led the family to a field 60 kilometres away, where they discovered a body.
The 33-year-old Donaghmade resident was convicted earlier this year of withholding information in connection with the case.
