Four Arrested After Brutal Stabbing and Assault in Bamber Bridge

Four suspects have been arrested following a violent attack on Station Road, england/bamber-Bridgebridge/”>england/bamber-Bridgebridge/”>Bamber Bridge, late last night. Two women were assaulted, with one suffering a stab wound and the other sustaining facial injuries.

Stabbing and Assault Shock Local Community

Lancashire Police rushed to the scene at 10:19 pm after reports of an assault. Officers found two victims: a woman in her 50s with facial injuries and a woman in her 20s suffering a stab wound to her elbow. Both are currently receiving medical treatment.

Suspects in Custody for Serious Assault

  • A 44-year-old man
  • A 22-year-old man
  • A 17-year-old boy
  • A 16-year-old boy

All four have been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 grievous bodily harm (GBH) and remain in custody pending further investigation.

Police Appeal for Information

“This was an isolated incident and there was no wider threat to the public,” said a Lancashire Police spokesperson, aiming to calm nerves in the community.

Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward. Witnesses should contact Lancashire Police on 101, quoting log 1378 of 28th September.
