Former North Kent taxi driver charged with robbery – UKNIP

 

 

Three charges have been authorised against a man who is accused of attempting to rob a shop in Swanscombe.

 

It is reported that at around 9.50am on Wednesday 7 October 2020 an offender entered a shop in Swanscombe Street and threatened a person inside with a knife. Demands were then made for money, however none was handed over and no items were stolen.  

 

Following enquiries carried out by Kent Police’s the Chief Constable’s Crime Squad, Caine Borrow was arrested on Monday 12 October.

 

The 29-year-old, of Keary Road, Swanscombe, has since been charged with attempted robbery, assault and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

 

He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 13 October and has been remanded in custody to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on Tuesday 10 November.
