Traffic was brought to a standstill on the M4 near Swindon on Friday afternoon after a FlixBus left the eastbound carriageway and came to rest in a nearby field.
Emergency services were called to the scene following reports of the coach leaving the road. Eyewitness footage, filmed by Sean Chapman, shows the green FlixBus stationary in open ground, with passengers standing nearby as crews assessed the situation.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and all on board were safely evacuated. It is not yet clear what caused the vehicle to veer off the motorway.

National Highways confirmed that one lane remained closed for recovery operations, leading to delays on the eastbound approach.
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is under way.
