Flat Fire in Dover Sees Major Emergency Response but No Injuries Reported

 

Emergency services responded to a significant flat fire in London Road, Dover early Sunday morning, May 25, 2025. The incident, which began at 7:44 AM, prompted a large-scale deployment by Kent Fire and Rescue Service.

Five fire engines and a height vehicle were dispatched to the scene, supported by Kent Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service’s Hazardous Area Response Team (HART).

Firefighters in breathing apparatus used a main hose jet to battle the blaze. The fire was successfully extinguished by 1:55 PM, and thankfully, no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
