Man Charged with Murder Following Fatal Collision in Sunbury Cross

In a heart-wrenching incident early Monday morning, two young men were tragically killed in a collision involving a black e-bike on the A316 southbound slip road onto the M3 in Sunbury. Surrey Police have identified the victims as 21-year-old William Birchard from Colnbrook and 22-year-old Darren George from Egham.

The crash occurred at approximately 12:52 AM, prompting an immediate response from the South East Coast Ambulance Service. Despite their efforts, Mr. Birchard was pronounced dead at the scene, and Mr. George succumbed to his injuries later in the hospital.
