Fire Rips through Two Shops in Darlington

Fire crews continue to tackle a significant blaze in Darlington. At 4:12am today we received reports of a fire on the second floor of St T’s home shop on Skinnergate in the town centre. One man was rescued from the blaze and has minor injuries. Five fire appliances and the aerial ladder platform continue to tackle the blaze.
